Tank One Area, Competent in All Others, Still Pass?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I'm sure this question has been asked before, I've googled a bunch but can't seem to find an answer (which is probably a wording issue, and thank you in advance for your help). I realize the test is pass/fail, based on minimum competency. Let's say you're competent in EVERY area except one (i.e., for instance, my weak point is pharm). Will lack of competency in one area cause a fail on this test? Or will the good competencies in your strong areas hold you over the pass/fail line? I've taken and passed the nclex-pn, so I'm familiar with the test format itself, I've got my review books and I'm working diligently on my weak points in preparation for my test on the 12th. If anyone can answer this question I would greatly appreciate it.
