Taking My Nclex Tommorow Morning!!

Like many of you, I have been reading other peoples experiences on their nclex and Of course psyching myself out, but still making sure to study everything I can.. It is the night before my test, I have spent the day doing practice questions, and Am about to get my goodnight sleep. I feel completley unprepared but at the same time excited! I am trying to have a positive attitude and at this point all I can do Is pray and hope I do Well!!! I spent the past week reading My red saunders book for content and doing the practice questions on the end of each chapter. I took an nclex final test on ATI and some of a comprehensive test.. I reviewed delegation and Prioritiaztion as well as frameworks and Learned my cbc and common lab levels. I did not spend too much on pharm, mostly just reviewed suffixes and common side effects.. Even with all of this I feel completley unprepared and find myself jumping from book, to ati, to tips, And I am just blehhh. I've come to the conclusion that I just have to trust my Knowledge and do My Best!!! Wish Me Luck everyone And I'll be sure to post how it goes:/

OMG I am nervous too. I have been studying for a week. My exam is next thurs. I cannot wait for it to be over. They say you can check with your state board website and see if your name is there. Ours should be in within 24 hrs. I will be checking that following friday to be sure if my name comes up with an Rn license number. I hope I pass so I can relax that weekend and for the rest of my life. No more NCLEX.... ahh. Good luck to everyone whose taking it also. We are going to be great nurses!

I have 3 weeks to study. Are you studying around the same amount of time?

After my kaplan class- I gave myself 2 weeks to study. I cannot study for more than that. I will loose motivation. When is your exam?

2/1 and I am the same way. How many hours a day are you studying. I work full time and can't take any days off. I am officially starting tomorrow. I've been doing like 50 questions a night for this last week but nothing major.

For 2 wks they say do 150 a day. and all Q trainer. But I have been behind on my qbank ?. I try and do like 25 at a time when I can. If you have 3 weeks, just follow the syllabus they gave for 3 weeks till Nclex. You should be good!

How many hours a day did you need

I take breaks, do errands or watch tv. Try not to sit for more than 3hrs max at a time. Umm I would say around 5 hrs a day I have been doing NCLEX prep- watching videos, looking at question rationale, doing questions etc. Hopefully its worth it. All this time and effort. Will see after I take my exam. LOL. Good luck!

Good Luck. I Know When I Took it. I was nervous. Thinking maybe I should have studied more. And done more practice questions. Word of advise. Just be confident and trust in what you know. And try to make a logical reason for the answers you pick.

Oh thats wonderful. I passed too. Found out last week. I am sooo happy!
