Remediation plan

Hi Blinker, I applied for New Mexico and a retaker. I submitted by remediation and recently got approved by the BON to move forward for my reapplication. I was wondering if you have any idea if I need to submit requirements or do the whole process again? I would really appreciate your response. Thank you

Hi biancabel, I am now planning to apply for New Mexico again after 2 nclex failed exam last 2012&2013. I am from philippines. However, they are asking for a remediation plan. I don't actually understand how to write a plan since I just asked an agency before to process my nclex application. I would really appreciate if you will provide me some info on how to make a remediation plan for new mexico. And, about my nclex history result, I already sent an email of request for my nclex history result, but I didn't receive any reply from licensing clerk. What, do u think, will I do about it? Please advise..thank you.

I'm also from the Philippines. May I ask why you're asking for your nclex history result? In my situation, I had my nclex processed by an expert too but now I'm on my own.

Anyway, I did my remediation plan last year but I suggest you do the Pre Assessment first to make sure you are eligible to retake. You can find it in their website or in this link: http://nmbon.sks.com/uploads/files/pre-application-self-assessment-10_24_17.pdf. If you have questions about your eligibility or about the remediation submission or plan may contact Barbara Hoehne at [email protected] or 5058419094. I use skype to contact them with the $2.99 per month unlimited calls to states, though Barbara is prompt in replying emails.

If you could give me your email. I would be glad to send you a sample of my plan and my summative review report. Some of the actions I did were to register and complete NCSBN review course and enroll in a review center. I asked for a format for a summative review report and they told me there is no required format. Keep in mind the purpose, which is to provide evidence that you completed the plan action. It should be no more than one page and clearly identified with your name and the action of your plan that it satisfies.

I would also suggest that you also follow up with cgfns to ask whether when will your credentials expire just to make sure you won't be wasting time.
