Nursing Students NCLEX

For those who have taken their NCLEX , did the people at Pearsonvue give any clues as to whether or not you passed? In retrospect of course.:wink2:

I've always been told they don't know anything at the testing center.

I've always heard same thing but a co-worker said they were all smiles when she left the exam and she thought for sure she'd failed. She passed. Anyone else with similar experience? Just a question.

When I was talking with one of the employees during the break they said they did not recieve the results - that they just administer the test. I went to a small testing center where everyone was very friendly and helpful

The proctors of the exam have no idea if one has passed or not; they do not see the exams.

The only way that they may think that someone passed if the person tells them the number of questions when they leave and they have left in a relatively short period of time.

And then there are several posters here in the past week or two that were told that they had passed because they finished quickly and with only 75 questions.

And when they received their results, they did not pass.

Unfortunately, many of these people want to just look important, they do not see your exam, nor have anything to do with it. They do not have access to it as well. Or then someone could say that they changed an answer on it that they made, it you look at it from the other side.

I took my NCLEX today and it says in the little NCLEX brochure they gave me at Pearson " As part of the quality control process, every NCLEX examination is scored twice: Once by the computer at the test center and then the results are verified after the exam record has been transmitted to Pearson Vue"

So they must know something there, I did not pick up any clues in my case though :-( just gotta wait

By the computer at the test center, the staff there do not have access to the results or anything having to do with the exam. They are there to proctor only.

Not one person other than yourself and the staff that is actually working at the Pearson-Vue offices and away from the testing centers have any access to your exam. If they did, just think of what could possibly happen?

Specializes in ER; HBOT- lots others.

all they do is proctor. they do not know results at all. they see you take the test and do all the fingerprinting, but know nothing of the sort. they dont even know after how many ppl failed or passed.

my guy told me too, "you did really good... relax".

they dont have any idea.

as much as we would like to maybe think, but they are encouraging eh? lol
