Register Today!- Feb 22 by St_ClaireQuote from Silverdragon102Thanks!GVN is a temp license that some states will issue when a student is waiting to sit NCLEX for the first time. If they fail then they cannot use the temp license anymore and if they pass a permanent license is issued
- Feb 22 by CT PixieQuote from St_ClaireA GVN is a person who's taken and passed all the required classes of an LPN school. They have the GVN status until they take the NCLEX if they pass, then they become LVN/LPN or if the fail the NCLEX they then lose the GVN status and are not LPN/LVN's.Is that LVN/LPN? I have never heard the term GVN.
In my state you are considered a GN (regardless of whether you had LPN or RN schooling) until you take the NCLEX. - Mar 14 by RoGo25took my exam on 03-12-13..... did the trick like 30 mins after... got the good pop-up and just checked my quick result and i passed... so it still works.

So this myth that everone is talking about is not true, I called pearson today to see if I could reg. again even though my results are not in, and the guy told me that computer will let you reg. until the results are in because it look as if you have not taken the test. ( even if the rsults show submitted)Only and Only when the results are in and you passed will it not let you reg. again. If you did not pass and the results are in then you can reg. again. But until the results are in the computer to reg. does not know if you took the test or not. So I asked him if I should reg. again now since I dont think I passed he told me if I reg again now and pay and I did pass the money would not be refunded. Thats why the myth is not true.
- Mar 14 by BouBouQuote from CherylMcReynoldsIt's obvious that you have not researched this topic before adding your inaccurate information. I suggest you read more threads about PVT on this site or a different one.1:21pm

- Mar 15 by CT PixieQuote from 70eastQuick results is not the PVT. Quick results are available after 48 hrs from the time the test was taken. You pay a fee when the results are available and you get your results.PVT is realxi took my test tuesday and paid quick results today and passed!
PVT (which I didn't know about when I took my NCLEX) is something that does not cost money and supposedly you can do almost immediatly after testing.
The PVT results are not official. The quick results are also not 'official' but it is the info that PearsonVue gives to the issuing States BON. I myself would not believe or disbelieve the PVT info, however I'd take the quick results at face value..if they say pass, then its a pass, if they say fail, its a fail. - Mar 15 by BouBouQuote from CT Pixie70east took her test Tuesday, then did PVT, and subsequently paid to get the early results.

The first 3 times I failed it took me all the way to the cc screen to pay. Today i got the pop up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time". Does it mean i passed?
