Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I just took my exam yesterday and I got the bad pop up. I used my credit card last night with a wrong ecp. Date , the card was declined. I'm devastated I've tried this exam 6 times and studied my tail off. I've taken all the reviews out there. I don't know what to do. I'm sure I've failed. It hasn't been a complete 24 hours since I completed the exam at 2:30 yesterday but its just my life. I see some people have had there card declined and still passed. Any words of encouragement out there. I'm a die hard nclex fan obviously. Lol

I'm sorry, I really don't know what to tell you at this point. Given the fact that you've failed NCLEX five times before yesterday, the likelihood IS that you failed this time, too. Won't know for certain until you check Quick Results (or your BoN website), so you can always hope until then. It is what it is.

Probably sounds obvious, but sometimes the obvious is what's overlooked: if you have failed six times, you need to do something RADICALLY different if you hope to pass at some point. Have you tried a 1:1 private tutor? Study group? Online class, or in-person classroom setting? If you are only continuing to study on your own (regardless of materials used) you aren't likely to get a different result than before.

Good luck.

Thank you for your response. I will have to use a different approach. I've tried 1 on 1 tutoring, Hurst, Kaplan, remar Reveiw. I've tried the questions i n the back of the Saunders, Kaplan, lacharity, and so many others to include ncsbn 3and 5 week course. I must say I never completed the ncsbn courses. Maybe that would be a good idea.
