I passed the Nclex PN with 85 questions the first time!!! I used the saunders red book for content. so this is what i did, first i took the 75 question test saunder has online to see what your week points are, so my week points were maternity and pediatrics. I spent two weeks studying that, then I spen three weeks studying the other systems like cardio, renal, oncology. at the same time i wrote down lab values in index card to memorize. I didnt finish the book because i didnt have time, so five days before i started to answer kaplan questions that you can google. in total i think i was only able to answer about 700 practice questions. I felt horrible because I was getting everything wrong but reading rationales. so two days before my test i just gave up on studying and believe it or not everything i had studied that month started to sink in those two days. when you get to the test just take you time to relax, and dont rush at the beginning of the test untill you feel calm. the first hour of the test i was a nervous wreck and only answered 20 questions. But i told myself or you know it or you dont, if you fail you have another chance so just answer like you are just studying for this test. it actually worked because i Passed with 85 questions. Good luck! Im not going to tell you to believe in yourself because I really didnt but i believed god would help me choose the best answers and he did.

What state? I'm from Cali and they sent me the letter after 4 weeks but I did Pvt and it works 100.

mayjoyarceo, i try to pm you for questions but it wasn't going through... you said it took you 4 to 5 mos. to get your eligibility right??! whats the first respond you got frm bvnpt? is it the schedule thing? i dont understand what theyre asking for? and how many mos. before you got the first respond mail?

Pvt means Pearson vue trick, you can check your result after 1-2 hrs after you take your exam. If they will allow you to pay that means to did not make it but if they won't allow u to pay u means u pass.check the sample message if u won't allow to pay. Hope it can help u.

Congrats!!!! I'm gonna take nclexpn this 23rd hope I passed it. I've been out for school for almost 4 years.. I'm using saunders red book, exam cram 3rd ed, and kaplan 2013-2014 strat.

I quit my job just to review. Any tips for your exam? Hows exam goes,? Is it hard? Or just average question? Thanks.

I quit my job just to review. Any tips for your exam? Hows exam goes,? Is it hard? Or just average question? Thanks.

Thanks miss dragon lady... I hope I can passed it Im so nervous now I'm not yet finish reading my saunders book. Did you pass nclex on for 1 take only?

hi everyone! i am new to this but i have been reading all the threads up until i took my nclex pn today. unfortunately i got the whole 205 questions :( i was in tears when i left the building. i was sure i failed. but i did the pearson vue trick and it wont let me re register! im not sure how accurate the trick is but i hope it is right.. only two days till i see my official results!

Hi I just took my Nclex about 2 hrs ago and my exam shut off at 85 questions and I got 27 SATA and 3 order questions. My friends had told me that they did not get any pharm or labs. My exam was all labs, ABG and pharm... help I am freaking out especially that its a friday and I have no clue when my results will be up

Don't wait too long to schedule the test....you will have limited number of days to schedule..here it is 90 days ...and if you wait too long, you will start to freak yourself out and doubt yourself...JUST DO IT!@! And wish us all luck!!
