hi sweetanelnurse,

i have a question, i'm new to this website.

great job, you passed nclex!!

i have a story to tell and help you can help me in any way...

i grad in dec 2011 from lvn school with ati predictor of 93%,

i took my nclex pn march 26 and failed. i thought i was ready but failed i had the full 205 questions. my school gave us vati with a instructor to help us but i failed. i am so hopeless, sad, and discouraged at the moment.

i'm doing saunders and exam cram now.... i was doing only ati virtual with my instructor and failed!! all my friends did saundra and exam cram and they passed on the first time.

please help me with anything you can or what to study, books, study guides. i'm in depressed help ...... i have not scheduled my appt again now i have to pay $150 to state then another $200 to pearson to retake nclex. i'm not working...have a daughter and its hard to pay that amount so i don't know where to start....i took a month off or so and started to study again since i was heart broken and depressed.

thank you....

hello aquariuslvn, thank you for stopping by to greet me. congratulation future nurse aquariuslvn for accomplishment. don't give up yet! think positive! there is always a reason why we failed the exam. i have to tell you about my story. i failed 3 times, and passed 4th time so don't get depressed, and mad to yourself. it's normal to get mad, depressed, and loss hope but i am telling you not to give up your dream. i know it's hard to failed this exam but you just need to move on and study hard again, and if your religious (pray harder to god to help you pass the exam because this is what you really want to help other people, & etc.). by the way i also have a 4 month old baby when i was doing my review that time, i always do my review at home. so it is very hard for me plus i also have a 3 year old boy, plus your hubby of coorifice.

what i did to pass my nclex pn exam was do lots of questions pertaining to nclex pn. i was doing saunder's comprehensive (green book) cds study mode - client content - do all questions - answer all of them - read rationale right or wrong. prioritize, delegation, and assignment by la charity i answered questions only chapters that's it. exam cram cd - answers all questions in the cd (study mode) like you answer and read rationale right away right or wrong. i also do kaplan review online - i answered all qbank questions about 1000 plus something or more, read rationale right or wrong. do your readiness test exam. you need to get 60-65% in your readiness test exam. watch all lod videos it is very helpful to understand the content and how to answer the hard questions, and also take note all the questions that you don't understand and google it, always take note if you don't understand especially procedures, and more. i have a suggestions when you take note i always type it which is i open two screen one for kaplan video, and one for microsoft word so i can type it right away. the score that you need to get in kaplan questions is 60% and above. read my post message from kaplan expert you need to understand why you need to get a certain amount of percentage to pass nclex. 50% and above is okay but try to get 60% and above is the ideal score. 50% less is not passing nclex! so try 60% and above. i wish you good luck!

if you have any questions let me know. sorry for late respond. good luck for your studying and i will pray for to pass nclex. you can do it because i can do it. just pray harder this time. tc
