is the nclex too easy?

i think the first time pass rate on the nclex is 83%. i honestly can't think of another profession where it's so high. does anyone think the bar to too low?

Thanks for those stats Eric, I was wondering.

I think 83% is a dreadful pass rate. Someone who makes it through nursing school should have a better chance at passing than 83%. Maybe NCLEX is fine, but nursing school is too easy.
