Oh gee I didn't know that! My school miraculously paid for ours. I just started using it, so I can't critique it just yet. I know when I was in nursing school and they made us take the ATI exams the adequate passing level was level 1 and up. When I take the practice assessments on the ATI website, it only shows me the percentage I get. For me, I'm trying to aim to get at least a 75% on the assessments.
All we can really do is practice, practice, practice, and more practicing!
Whatever you get wrong that shows up on the focus review that comes up after the exam, look it up!
I'm currently having a lot of anxiety about the NCLEX too. Just look at it this way, when you get to test day, just think that you've prepared for this very moment for 4 years (or 2 years respectively) and you've already gotten through the hardest part! That means you know stuff! Just go in there with confidence and know that you can do it!!
It's so easy to look at what other people are saying and how many times they've failed it and become discouraged. Don't pay any mind to it!
My school did an ATI review for us and the instructor gave us individualized study plans. My ATI Comprehensive Predictor test score was a 72% and it said that I had a 94% chance of passing. The instructor told me to study questions and rationales for 2 weeks and I would be ready. I studied for 1 week, took it yesterday. It shut off after 75Qs and I'm getting the good pop up.
Well my school had the ATI as part of our nursing program to pass ..you had to get level 2 to pass the class on ATI test per subject. But what our school didn't do was explain ATI important of nursing . Now that a lot of people didn't do really on the nclex, they are finally giving us a review for free . I never did good on the ATI tests I would have to take them over and over again until I finally passed them. Which I heard there is only A-B-C-D test so I would pass but now looking back on all that I understand why...I just didn't get it. My friend always did great of ATI she learned it from the start and understood it. For me I failed the nclex in March but yes it look just like ATI to me. So I can't wait to see what the review will bring for me to learn to pass. Good luck and yes try to force on the ATI for me it was a big part of the nclex test.
I'm STILL waiting for the results. Took it Monday AM...they said I should have it tomorrow. UGH!! lol
Anyway, I was usually a level 2 which is average. I would get anywhere from 66% to 73%.
With my one score that was a 66%, they said I had an 86% chance of passing...then like I said, with the 72%, they said I had a 94% chance of passing.
