NCLEX 2018 & PV trick!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey everyone so today I found out I passed my NCLEX-RN with 144 questions using about 4 hours to do so. I am officially a Registered Nurse!! ( sorry I found out this morning and I am beyond excited) Now I am writing all of this because every second after taking my test I was looking on these forums for some type of encouragement or reassurance.. something. I took my test 2 days ago and walked out of the building in tears.. I literally felt my heart drop.. I instantly felt I failed. The test was on topics I never even heard of or hadn't studied well before the test and it just made me feel like a big failure! Right after I finished the test and did the PV trick and got the good pop up! It relieved my nerves just a bit but knew I had to wait at least 24hours to see that in fact it was the good pop up... well 24 hours later I did it again! (Got the good pop up again!) I did my LVN about three years ago and did the PV trick and got the good pop up and passed! I know there are skeptical people out there ( like me) but the trick seems to be working for just about everyone so it doesn't hurt to try! Obviously the final word is from the board of nursing but we all know that is a nerve wrecking time! Well like I said I got the good pop up the whole time while waiting for my results and ended up passing! So the PV trick still works in 2018! Other people in my class used it as well and it worked for them! Now the only negative that I ever heard about the trick is some people get false negative (bad pop up) and end up passing! Just keep the faith!!! - excuse my spelling errors.. I'm just so excited :) best of luck to you all!

Hi dear congratulations! Cheers!!! May I ask some tips please what materials youve used and how long did you review?

How many satas?which content areas mostly came out to you? Did you use uworld and which is easier uworld or nclex?❤ thanks love lots

Hey!!! Ok well first of all thank you means a lot! Well first to study- I went over the content I was unsure about or not strong in first. I didn't do any practice questions but really sat down and tried to learn what I didn't know. Next I registered for NCLEX mastery and did about 300 questions from there.. and ended up buying uworld. Now with uworld I loved the set up (the rationales were amazing). I did all the questions and the 2 assessments. I scored very high and high on the other one. I also made sure to go over the ones I got wrong and understand why I got it wrong. I finished nursing school October 31st and spent a good month studying consistently. In regard to the actual test.. I can't lie.. it was hard. I got about 25 SATA 2ekgs, maternity, prioritizing and delegating. In the end I felt that the nclex was harder but maybe because the questions kept getting harder. With uworld I ended up with a 95% on overall performance. I recommend really studying the areas you don't know as well and then move onto practice questions. Once I did that.. answering the questions became so easy! Good luck!!

How long did it take for you to get your result? Did you get the letter first or did you see your name on the BRN website?
