NCLEX 2014

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I just took the nclex RN a few weeks ago. I managed to keep good grades all through nursing school. I graduated in December 2013, and took the nclex jan 2014. I studied for weeks after graduation and scored above average on all the practice tests. I felt confident going itl the test. I took all 265 questions and took 5.5 hours. at first i felt okay afterwards but then did the Pearson vue trick and got the "bad" pop up. it took a couple days for it to set in that i had failed. I was devastated. I felt as if i had felt everyone down, including myself. Most of my classmates had passed, so i just felt "stupid." I am now ready to retest and pass my 2nd attempt in 45 days. If anyone has any advice, study tips, etc, I would gladly appreciate it!

Same thing happened to me, I failed the first time I took the test and watched my friends pass. My passed a few weeks ago. So Don't give up. Take a break, relax for a few days and get back into studying. When you get your candidate report, do questions on the sections you did low on. Do as many questions as you can before the test and understand why you are getting the questions incorrect. Make sure you know how to prioritize and know your infection control. Good luck!

Need to some advice on how to study, I failed the NCLEX-RN exam in July and have been studying poorly for the test. I graduated in May. Not sure how to snap out of this what I think is depression and a great deal of disappointment. Just recently I had another melt down with feeling as if my classmates and fellow nursing students have moved on without me. What to do? Where to start? My desire is to sit again by the end Nov. or no later than Dec.
