My experience with the Nclex RN 75 questions

okay so I took my test today and it shut off at 75 as well. I guess my brain decided to take the 2 hour route to finish the 75 questions. I got a little bit of everything, about 10 select all that apply, 8 calculations (oh and I was going crazy about submitting answers with whole numbers until I looked it up = no decimals round up which I did! whew), and the rest were an even mix of infection control, priority, and easy questions. I'm worried about my last 3 though, SATA then 2 easy questions. Test shut off so fast I can't remember what they were about. So now I've downgraded back to nervous wreck. Praying that my prayers were answered. I got 64% or above on my q trainers.

I passed I got the pop up, I refreshed the screen and tried re-registering like 5 times. It came up everytime lol. The 75 question shut off is torture, I was more stressed out after the test then I was during the test. I didn't feel immediate relief from the test being over at all. Now I can sleep, I mean really sleep, for the first time in 3 years. Good luck to everyone who will be waiting for the almighty pop up, and a special shout out to my 75 question RN's.

I honestly thought the time AFTER the test was worse than the test itself. Mine shut off at 75 also, took the test yesterday. I was very composed during the test but fell apart after, had to have my friend check for me haha. 75 ftw!

congrats. im on day 4 of studying using the ncbsn learning ext and im freaking out because there are not a lot of quizzes. I dont know what or how I should be studying. I graduated almost two years ago and failed twice. i would like to take it in a month or so. ive used kaplan before and i cant afford it again. I have saunders 5th ed. book with disc. Any suggestions? i want quizzes that are the most like the test that show me what areas im doing bad in.

Ncsbn has a lot of questions....and good ones too...I skipped the content part because its not that good but I answered all the questions that came with it....

You should do the Kaplan Q trainers, they are free and are roaming around if you search for them. There are 7 Q trainers, they all have a lot of questions.

I just took the NCLEX yesterday, and I would say that Lacharity priorization, delegation book would also be helpful. They have taugh questions about priorization and the NCLEX had a lot of those, priorization and also which patients would you put with whom, so is good to know about which patients need to be on airborne precautions as opposed to droplet precausions, etc. If you get me your email address, I can e-mail you the Q trainers and an NCLEX study guide that is going around.

most of my time is spent reading all of it. It seems like all common sense crap and its causing me anxiety, feel like i should be doing more questions.
