My experience during exam (and a prayer for test takers)

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I used this prayer when I took my nclex-rn exam last may and I feel the need to share this experience:

I remember the day of my exam I forgot my ATT!

I prayed this first before panicking and finding ways to solve my stupidity..

It's already 15 minutes before my test appointment and my home is 15 minutes away from the site..

It will take me 30 min. to go back and forth. I'll not make it in time if I decided to go back.

Luckily, my agency's office is just 2 floors down below pearson vue testing center.

It was so embarrassing to approach them in the office and blurted how stupid I am.

But I swallow my pride! they kindly let me access email and print out my att!!!

During my exam my anxiety still there but I try to refocus.I was able to answer most of the questions.

I feel so blessed that most of the questions I got pretty much covered from my review.

5 hours after. I tried the pearson vue trick and boom! GOOD POP UP!

I work 2 jobs. (night shift on weekdays, then medtech on weekends).

For 4.5 months, I juggled work and study. I only did a self study btw.

But there's no way I can do this all without guidance from ABOVE.

Can't believe I nabbed it on the first try.

PRAYER REALLY CHANGES EVERYTHING!!! :)

This is a prayer for St' John Cupertino:

1st Prayer

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

Amen.

2nd Prayer

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination eg. History paper I ) examination.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for meO Holy Ghost enlighten meOur Lady of Good Studies pray for meSacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Remember, when you succeed in the exams then you should thank God above all

and St. Joseph of Cupertino.

GOOD LUCK PEEPS!!!!!!!!!

I got curious about St. Joseph of Cupertino and found this on a Wikipedia page about him:

Joseph was beatified in 1753 and canonized in 1763. He has been declared the patron saint of air travelers, aviators, astronauts, people with a mental handicap, test takers, and poor students.

Thank you so much for including the prayer for test takers. I'm getting stressed about starting a BSN program in 1 month, and need all the help I can get!!

Thank you for the prayer, I took my NCLEX yesterday, and said the prayer before I went in the building. I felt calmer while I was taking my exam. Found out I passed this morning. Thank you God, St. Cupertino!

I have to say the prayer really does work! I did the prayer everyday when I prepare my RN exam and I passed it on my first try! I also did that when I take part in TOEFL exam. The prayer helped my too. I want to share my feeling and express my thankfulness to God. Cheers!
