I've taken the NCLEX twice now....I need help. Very DEPRESSED

I have taken the NCLEX twice now and I still haven't passed. The first time i knew I didn't study and went bc i wanted to see what it was like. I took 262 questions and failed. I just recently went and took it a second time stopped at 123. I actually studied this time did the anderson review and the questions on the saunders nclex cd (I didn't really do much of the content reading bc it was overwhelming). I haven't gotten my results yet but i tried the PVT and it took me straight to the cc page. I also called PCS for a new ATT and they where willing to take my CC so I am almost certain I failed again. Does any one have any tips or pointers. I am really depressed bc I wanted it so bad this time. Should I do kaplan? Im just a little lost bc I expected to pass and everyone I know passed and im confused why I cant pass bc I graduated on dean's list. Please help!

I say take kaplan, maybe you need help learning how to break down questions and cancel out the wrong answers. That's what kaplan helps you with. To me I feel that kaplan questions were harder than the nclex questions. I also used the Saunders comprehensive book to review topics I got wrong on the kaplan question trainers. I also used Saunders question and answer book too when I got tired of doing kaplan questions on the computer.

I agree, do Kaplan, take the course if you can or at least get the rn content review book and register for their qbanks/trainers. Saunders questions were too easy and their content too saturated for someone to efficiently review for nclex.

I have to agree with this statement. Even though I have not taken the NCLEX-RN yet (Scheduled Thursday!) I have taken the NCLEX-PN and I took a whirl at various sources to use. Every single source out there besides PDA and Kaplan are too content based. They don't make my head hurt like Kaplan and PDA. This is what the NCLEX will do. It's all about the Analysis questions. If your getting random content based questions you better say in your mind "Oh fudge, I'm below the passing minimum".

I am using Kaplan and my scores are kinda all-over but reading each rationale is getting my juices flowing for critical thinking and the application questions.
