In desperate need of some motivation!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey everyone!

I took the NCLEX-RN at the beginning of November 2014. Unfortunately, I failed with 265 questions. I got my CPR and all of the content areas were "near the passing level". I was so hurt and discouraged because I already had a job lined up and was supposed to start orientation that next week. I haven't really studied since then. Now after paying to take the exam again and waiting on my ATT, I am trying to get motivated to study. I have Lippincott's Q&A Review for NCLEX-RN, PDA by Lacharity, and Saunders Comprehensive Review to brush up on content. I am also thinking about purchasing NCSBN just for their questions. I think the first time I got so nervous when my computer went past 75 questions and that threw my concentration for the remainder of the test. Any advice? PLEASE HELP! I need some inspiration. I want to test again in early February.

Thank you all

I'm in the same boat. Failed the ******* nclex for the 4th time! Plus I was so close to passing! 265 questions in almost 6 hours. I understand that you feeled crushed. I feel the same way, and it sucks even more when you hear all the awesome things that your other classmates are doing. However, that is not the main point. The #1 thing is to hang in there. Keep practice and reviewing. When you finally pass, you know that you are going to treasure that license more than anyone would because you worked so hard for it! You're not alone. At least you know one person is in the same boat as you. Me! We got this. Just got to keep going!

Thanks so much for the inspiration! We can do this and we WILL do this!!

I definitely recommend buying NCSBN! I thought the questions were pretty similar to those I got on my NCLEX. However, they don't have a lot of alternative format questions. But you still get a great amount of questions for the price!

Best of luck to you! You can do it!

Thanks so much!
