Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello everyone

I am freaking out. I took my NCLEX yesterday (Tuesday 23rd 2016) and my exam shut down at exactly at 75 questions. I am NOT EMOTIONAL, I didn't cry, I don't even know what is going on in my head. I don't even remember if the questions were hard or easy. All I remember is I had total of 21 MMQ, a 1 math for meds. And I don't even know. I am too scared to try the pearson trick, can someone help me out.

What do you think? Is it a good sign that it shut off? A lot of people say, if you come out feeling okay with 75 question, YOU FAIL, and if you come out feeling like ****, you PASS!

I don't know about me....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP MEEEEEE!!!!! Can someone tell me about YOUR EXPERIENCE???!!! Is this GOOD OR BAD???

I am waiting to buy the 48 hours results from pearson but I don't know how stay positive anymore.

Help me!!!!

Specializes in NICU.

I passed at 75 questions. I came out 99.9% sure I passed. I graduated with a high GPA, went to a school with a high NCLEX pass rate, and studied my butt off for the test. If you did well in school, studied hard, and went to a school with a good NCLEX pass rate, then you passed. If you barely passed nursing school, went to a school with a low pass rate, didn't study, or foreign graduate then it would be doubtful you passed.

Shutting off at 75 questions means you did very well or very poorly. Anywhere in between would have given you more questions.

Thank you for your response. I passed my NCLEX! Appreciate your input.
