I need NCLEX study help

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey everyone! I have been studying for boards but need help to see if I'm on the right track. On my ATI comprehensive exam I had a 95% predicted pass, if that is even reliable. I'm using Saunders review book, PDA book, and Kaplans strategies and practice book. I've reviewed basic information from Saunders and done a lot of practice questions each day. At least 100 or more per day.

Saunders - scores range 60-73%

PDA - anywhere from 60-80%

Kaplan - on the 265 question practice test I got a 73%

I would say the PDA questions seem to be the hardest for me and I still have a lot of case studies left to Work on.

For those who have used these resources, Are my scores okay?

I'm going to start doing the Kaplan qtrainer exams next. Are those similar to the test questions in the book??

Thanks everyone!

I have no experience using Saunders, but can say anything really about 70% on Kaplan is good. The best indicator you can use however is the readiness test. This will show you how ready you truly are for the NCLEX. Also, for the Kaplan course review the Qbank and do the question trainers each one about 3 times at least. I myself did about 4,500 to 5,000 questions total for studying (passed with 75 questions). Also, for Kaplan do not cheat and short yourself by looking at the answers before answering the question, this will not help you at all! Again do about 200-300 questions each day for about 3 weeks. Keep a daily routine to take time out of your day to study for the NCLEX and your future! Review delegation, select all that apply, prioritization and safety questions. Hope you pass and best of luck!

Your scores are fine. From what I have been told getting about the mid 50's on Kaplan is passing in NCLEX world! My Kaplan instructor said a 65% on Kaplan = a 90% on NCLEX!

Thanks for the replies!!
