Everybody PLEASE hang in there I failed NCLEX once and definitely know the feeling, but today after my exam I try the PVT trick and the message stated Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration can not be made at this time. I hope the PVT works because I can not go through another fail, but if I failed its just another exam. I will pick myself back up and continue to study for the exam :/. The first attempt I used Hurst review (3-day live review), NCSBN (8wks), La charity priority delegation assignment workbook, Saunders 5th edition, and my friends Kaplan sign in and practiced his Q trainers and Q bank questions. I study for two months 8-10hr days non-stop everyday. Unfortunately, my first attempt I ran out of time with 211 questions, which left me at a disadvantage because NCLEX will only grade on your last 60 questions and all last 60 questions have to be above the passing line. I lost my Student Nurse Associate position in the ICU and I was devastated for four days, but I managed to pick myself back up and started a new NCLEX game plan. The second time around I used Hurst Review 45-days remediation packet and sign up for Kaplan class room anywhere ($450). I know its a lot of money but I did not know where to start. I managed to save up for the Kaplan class and I do not regret it because Kaplan will teach you test taking strategies, which is what you will need to be successful on NCLEX. I study for another 60 days 8-10hrs everyday and re-looked at all my notes and followed Kaplan guide lines. I was between 55-66 on my Qtrainers and Qbank. Qtrainer 6-66% and Q7 was 63-% and my cumulative Qbank was 58%. I just kept praying and believing that one day I will have RN title. I felt more prepared the second time around I did not freak out just stayed clam and focused and keep praying, praying and praying.
