I don't like reading NCLEX books

I hated reading in NS and still hate it now as I'm studying for the NCLEX. Even though NCLEX books are short and to the point I'm still having a hard time focusing on the content and feel as though it is impossible for me to retain SO much information. Does anyone else feel this way? I'm seriously thinking about just skipping the content reading and putting my focus on answering nclex questions using the cd. When I took LPN boards I never read content, I primarily did nclex questions for two weeks and passed first time with 85 questions.

I hated reading NCLEX books as well! They are pure liquid evil, I think. I just played with NCLEX questions for three weeks and I passed my first time. Mine stopped at 86 questions.

Thanks! I passed 10/05/11. I'm a study nazi, I would wake up, go to the gym, then spend the rest of the day just studying nearly every day till test day. I also gave myself a two week break from everything after I graduated from school in August.

if you can. i recommend hurst online lectures. you listen and follow along with notes they give you and take notes. its more interactive than reading a book. and since you already took LPN exam and have experience with these types of exam then do what works for you =) questions questions questions! good luck! =)
