how much review is adequate to prepare... post graduatation...

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

i graduated nursing school in May... had to take a general education course in the summer needed to graduate.

i have the Hurst review... how long does it take to finish and review ALL of the lesson plans on this, thoroughly... 2 months? 2 years? also, i plan to review questions daily...

i felt like i haven't learned/retained a thing from nursing school. thanks in advance...

I do not have Hurst but generally any review is based on the student abilities. some need a couple of week's, others need a couple months. You really should have been studying all since May. It will be difficult to get back into nursing school / NCLEX mode after 3 months. Just do as much as you can, study like its your full time job. That would mean 6-8 hours per day content and including at least 100 questions per day. I also plan to do at least 1 day per week with 265 questions so I could get used to the NCLEX maximum questions possible without being discouraged during the real test if i go past 75.
