Does BON really take 48 hours or am I going crazy?

I just can't decide if I'm going crazy or not. I took my board exam on Thursday, 11/13 @ 8am in MN. Unfortunately, this is the FOURTH attempt at the boards... after getting 119 the first attempt, 75 on the second, 265 on the third and now 155 on the fourth...

I checked the BON for MN on Friday around noon. No license number shows up, and my status says, "Exam Taken 11-13-14". I have read several times and have had numerous people tell me that it can take up to 48 BUSINESS hours for the status to change.

However, I can't say I know a person who has passed in MN who's status took that long to change on BON website. I have studied so hard and for three months for this exam (just about the same as every time before). I used PassPoint by Lippincott and ROCKED every single comprehensive exam I took with a mastery level of 8 (on a 0-8 scale, 4 being the "passing threshold").

I can't imagine having to take this board exam again, for a 5th time. I have used the Board of Nursing Review Program, Saunders, Kaplan, Lippincott, Hurst, etc... I pretty much have done it all.

I have never been so upset and sick feeling as I was on Thursday when I came home and have been ever since.

Has anyone ever experienced their status changing from Exam Taken to Exam Passed taking 48 hours or more? I'm going crazy! I have an AMAZING job interview on Tuesday....

Ugh! Someone help! Tell me that there is still a chance that the status can change!

The board of nursing takes as long as they want to take.

if your state participates in quick results you can get the answer from Pearson vue at 48 hours.

I have no idea how long the BoN takes to update its website in your State; some take one day, some a few days or a week, others several weeks.

I think the "48 hours" you're thinking of is the time it takes to have Pearson Vue's Quick Results avaiable for purchase. If MN participates in QR, you can pay $8 after 48 hours have passed since completion of your exam. That will tell you, conclusively, if you have passed or failed the exam, but NOT when your State BoN will issue a license. That is up to the BoN.
