Best NCLEX PN Review Book?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello Everyone!

I will be completing my LPN course in three weeks, and want to know which book is best to purchase for the review. Currently, I have Mosby's and Saunders, but from what I have been reading here, they do not seem to be choice books. I will have a review course a few weeks after our grades are placed in, (the grades are placed in March 1, 2006), and I plan to take the NCLEX by the middle of April. I want to have my plan of study in place before I get out of here.

Also, I really don't believe that I have a fair command of pharmacology. What did you all do to learn all of those drugs? I had a horrible pharmacology and nutrition instructor, and they really didn't place much emphasis on drugs and nutrition once we got out of the class. What the heck do you do?

I am about as nervous as the posts I have seen about the waiting for the results. I live in New York, and can get the results in 24 hours (if I want to pay that money), or 28 hours. I hate the fact that they really don't seem to gear the questions towards what you were actually taught. :chair: (I feel like hiding already!!)

Thanks!

Don De Dieu, thanks for your message. I bought the two books- Kaplan and Saunders and i am finding them interesting.

I am sorry for what has been happening to you concerning the exam. Well just keep trying and be positive minded. It will happen like a miracle. I wish you all the best too!

Exam cram and saunders are best. Even if u finish saunder book thats enough for u,

Thanks Prado, i appreciate your advice.
