    Hi Guys,
    I'm a newbie here.
    Since I'm exempted to take an English test in Florida, I applied to take NCLEX-RN for Florida BON but I'm physically located in Chicago, Illinios.

    If I passed NCLEX-RN for Florida BON, can I immediately apply for Licensure by Endorsement in Illinois without any working experience in Florida ?

    is my idea illegal ?

    why dont you just take the english test where you are if thats what it takes to get licensed?? is it a difficult test?? the nclex is to measure that you can practice as a safe nurse. i dont know what english proficiency measures but it is probably safe practices too. i dont think what youre doing is illegal, but if you have to ask, then you know it is probably wrong. if it is legal then go for it. but maybe you should call the illinois bon to ask them what they think
