All the way to 265 and did the PVT -__-"

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my test the other day (August 30th) and got all 265 questions :(

Drove 20 minutes home and went to Peasonvue.com and look at my status on there and it said Successfully Deliver. I went on to try and register again and got the good pop up. I don't know if it is reliable. I guess it is natural for those who have the bad pop up to think it's reliable and the ones with the good pop up to think it isn't.

MY Test Experience

I took my LVN test two years ago and I thought it wasn't that bad. My computer shuts off at 85 and I came out of the testing center feeling like I did okay. The RN one was different. Half of the questions have multiple sentences and long answer choices. I feel like I have at least 2 select all that apply (SATA) out of every 10 questions. I heard people said different things about how the NCLEX graded us. A classmate told me that if you get all 265 questions, the last question is the one that will determine if you pass or fail. When I got to the last question, it was a SATA question and I just face palm. I was afraid that I might get it wrong because it is a SATA! Some instructors said it's a good sign to get SATA questions because it mean you are above the passing line. When I told another one of my classmate about my last question which is the SATA, she said it's a good thing that my last question is a SATA because it mean that I'm above the passing line. idk...I guess I'll wait and see if I passed or not.

How I Prepared

I did ATI and Kaplan. I used Kaplan most of the time. I did their Trainer Test and their Questions Bank and only scored around the 50-60% range. I did an average of 150 questions a day and read the rationales. My friend did Hurst and sometimes we study together to motivate each other. The real exam is similar to Kaplan. Or should I say it is identical to Kaplan! I'd recommend everyone to take the Kaplan course!

Thank you for reading...

Anxiously waiting for my result -__-"
