Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear from MCC-Penn Valley to see if you have been accepted into the Spring 2017 class of their nursing program? I emailed someone last week, and she told me that even though review of applicants is a lengthy process they anticipate to be sending out letters within the next 3 weeks.

If anyone has anymore information to provide please let me know. Good luck to everyone!

Hey all! I received my acceptance letter as well! Congrats to everyone!!! Has anyone gotten the email from signupgenisus.com yet? Also Do we know what time the mandatory meeting is next week? I emailed them but I haven't heard back yet.

Congratulations! The meeting is from 10a-12n in room 101. I havent gotten an email from the Signupgenius yet. Ive been chipping away at our list of things to get done in Castle Branch though! Cant wait to meet you!

Oh perfect, thank you so much!! I have scheduled my appointment for the physical and titers and just got my flu shot (had to get my 20 cents of a gallon at HyVee haha.) I can't wait to meet you either!!

The only one that I see that has an expiration date is Microbiology. It cant be over 5 years old at the time of your application. Good luck to you!

I'd call the nursing office to clarify.

I graduated about a year ago and I know things have changed since then but last I checked the science classes need to be completed within 5 years of application date, exception is if Microbiology is completed prior to that it can waive prior classes. For example: You took BIOL 100 6 years ago but if you took Micro last semester, Micro could waive the BIOL 100.

I haven't either. I talked with my classmate who was accepted as well and she hasn't received anything as well. Keep me updated if you get anything so I can check spam just in case.
