KCMO Penn Valley Spring 2017

Anyone else anxiously waiting to hear from MCC-Penn Valley to see if you have been accepted into the Spring 2017 class of their nursing program? I emailed someone last week, and she told me that even though review of applicants is a lengthy process they anticipate to be sending out letters within the next 3 weeks.

If anyone has anymore information to provide please let me know. Good luck to everyone!

I too am anxiously waiting. I was actually about to call and see if they started sending out acceptance letters until I ran across your post.

I also have a friend that just started last month and she said she waited around 6 weeks to get her acceptance letter.

Ok. I thought about calling them again...but I don't want to be anymore of a nag than I already have. I told myself to wait to call until the beginning of October. Guess I'll just keep bugging the poop outta my husband everyday to see if I've gotten any mail from the school every. single. day. until October. If you hear anything please let me know!

Oh I definitely will. I have been checking the mail daily hoping to find something in there. I will probably call them at the end of next week if I haven't received anything.

I too applied for the January 2017 start. I received an email on Friday that said that letters should be going out this week. I also went ahead and applied to the LPN program that will start in January. I am currently taking Microbiology and Medical Terminology. After this semester I will be out of pre requisites to take so I need to get into one program or the other!!!! Keep me posted of what you guys find out!

Awesome! Thanks for the info! I'm only taking one class this semester---micro lab. I'll be finished with pre-reqs like you. I also applied at KCKCC since I've done a few semesters there. But since I'm not a Wyandotte County resident, it sounds like my chances are pretty low on the totem pole to get into their program.

Good luck to you! Hopefully we all get some good news this week!!!!

Just called today. They stated they are still working on them and hope to send out soon.

Wish they had a social media page that would update us on what they are actually doing. It would save them a ton of redundant phone calls. And would be more accurate with info. The suspense is driving me bananas!!! Thanks for the update. ☺️
