Flo Valley nursing program Fall 2013

Congratulations! I am an alternate but I may be starting there as well. I was at Forrest Park last year but had to drop because of low test scores. I spent my time out of school to reading test taking strategy books, I should be ok now. I heard bad things about flo valley though so I don't know. Heard there teachers weren't good. Im still thinking of giving it a try. You going to the information meeting next month?

Hello,

I am actually an alternate right now as well but they said there is a very good chance that I will be in this Fall. This will be my first semester in Nursing school. I have also heard things about Flo Valley on certain blogs but they were posted awhile ago and I think that everybody would have a different experience. I will be at the orientation April 15th and if you are there at least we would know somebody else there. My name is Amanda. Let me know if you are going for sure and we could meet up there and share information and thoughts.

Hi I also receive my letter and plan to start in August. I was at the orientation yesterday, did anyone else make it? I'm looking forward to meeting you guys before the program begins. Do any you plan on attending the workshops over the summer?

Hi what was the hardest part about the test that caused you to have low test scores? I have test anxiety and I need to figure out a way to conquer it beforehand. Did you utilize the retention coach?

No, I didn't use the retention coach. The tests are difficult like they said at orientation. They are not like an A&P test or any of your other prerequisite courses. I would start reading some "Nursing Strategies To Test Success" book s. They have many of them on amazon and cheap. (I bought one for less than a $1)!

I have almost everything completed I just need one or two more things to complete. I couldn't reply to your pm but I definitely need a study partner! Congrats on getting in the spring also!
