Carondolet/St. Joseph New Grad RN-BSN Salary - SHOULD I TAKE THE JOB?

Hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone new what SJ paid new grad RN's? I guess they call them "Clinician I". I was recently offered a Patient Care Associate position (basically being a tech) but they really hint at the fact I can be a new grad RN once I take boards and graduate in May. But - the pay isn't that great for a PCA so the only reason I would want to work there is if they pay new grad RN's well. Does anyone know?

I know there are a lot of other factors involved (working environment, taking care of patients) - I have already considered these factors and money is the only thing left to think about.

I think the starting salary at St. Joseph is 19.30...although they might have raised it this year. You do get 17% differential for nights, and 22% for weekends.

I thought it was more like $18.75/hour. I know St. Luke's mentioned $18.60 at a recent recruitment event. I believe they're all pretty close. St. Joseph has a $5000 sign on bonus which I believe is quite a bit more than some other facilities, but I don't know what the commitment or payout plan is on that.

No, I'm pretty sure its 19.30, because I started at 18.90 two years ago, and they raised it to 19.30. The commitment bonus is paid out when you start, and every three months.

actually the start is now 20.80 for new rn and the bonus is 500 up front then 1000 every 6months for 2yrs i just started last december and this is what it is for me
