My advisor told me this as well. Two weeks vs. three months is a huge difference to pay the fee. Wonder whats going on with the misinformation?

Mollysdream, thanks for that info. I might try to call them next week, but I am looking at other schools so I'm not sure if I'm interested in hearing from them. SDSU, you applied for fall..I don't believe they have rolling admissions, so you will probably hear from them two weeks after the fall deadline.

Everglades, why do you care how much someone else pays for a school? You are so lucky to have parents to pay for your education. Most people don't have that option. Glad to see you are a NP, maybe you should worry about your career instead of where other people attend school?

Sorry mollysdream. I think they are pretty selective and dont let many applicants in per semester. Have you looked at Cincinnati, Simmons?

No reason, just a denial letter. If you have't recieved one yet, I would say you are good to go! They will probably mail out acceptance letters this week. I am looking at some other schools to apply at.

No, I'm pretty sure its 19.30, because I started at 18.90 two years ago, and they raised it to 19.30. The commitment bonus is paid out when you start, and every three months.

I think the starting salary at St. Joseph is 19.30...although they might have raised it this year. You do get 17% differential for nights, and 22% for weekends.

All of the classes are good, we have great teachers who really care about our well being. They admit 55 students a semester, and when you get into your clinicals, you usually have a group of 8-10 students. Everybody knows each other, and you can get help anytime you need it. We have most of our clinicals at either Boone of University hospital, which is full of med, respiratory, pt, and ot students, so there is always a lot of learning going on. PM me if you want to know any dirt on teachers :)

I currently attend the school, and I am graduating in December. It is a great school, really supportive teachers and the hospitals where you do clinicals are cool. I would recommend the program to anyone, they set you up for success.
