Next year august and are you taking any classes at Rockhurst?

Yeah that would be great. I will probably only take 3-6 credits each semester because I really only need a couple psychology and theology classes for the 15 credit hours. Then I don't know what to take, electives I guess just to get in the 15 hours. I am moving from Utah with my husband, he is going to med school starting in August. We are looking into buying a townhouse somewhere down by the research college. We hear it's safer and a nicer area than in the northern part of the city.

I wouldnt buy a townhome near the hospital. I'm from KC and lived here all my life. As far as it being safer than up north, I disagree. You need to check the crime statistics around Rockhurst University, as well as the mid-town area.

How about checking into the Nursing Village where marjority of the nurses live? They are duplexes right next to Research Hospital and they also include family living. I hear the rent is pretty cheap and it's figured out in your tutition some kinda way also. There are plenty of AO and TO students who live in the Nursing Village.

Oh, good to know. I don't think we want to rent though. We'll see. I'm hoping we will be able to fly out there for a few days this summer and look around. Thanks so much for all the advice. My husband will be going to the Med school in the Northern part of the city so we will probably end up somewhere north. I hear the area by his school isn't that great but there are areas around that are nice. We have a while to look but if anyone hears of anything good let me know!
