    Hi all - I'm wondering if there are hospitals (particularly Allina and North Memorial) that will pay for your schooling if you work for them as a CNA. If they will, do you know if they require a minimum number of hours that you have to work in order for them to pay?

    Also, does anyone know how to get a flexible position as a CNA? Work like 16 hours a week??? I always see postings for 60 hours every 2 weeks but that is way too much for me right now...

    According to Allina's benefits page they offer tuition reimbursement. They don't say how many hours you must work, but rumor has it that you have to work 4-5 days a pay period to get benefits. I believe most of the hospitals have some form of tuition reimbursement. Most of them list it under their benefits on their webpages.

    In order to get a job with lesser hours I'd call HR and talk to them. They'd have a better idea of what they have available.
