Wayne State University, DET Waiting for Response

U.S.A. Michigan

Published

Hello, I am applying to Wayne State University College of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan for fall 2010. I have completed all of my requirements to be considered for an interview/ admissions (my application is complete). How long will it take to hear a response from WSU CoN regarding an interview and or acceptance notice?

:yeah: I'm in!!! Anyone else for traditional here?? Just started going through the list of clinical requirements, it doesn't look like the links are activated yet. Hope to meet some of you in July!!!

I'm in as well!!! :D Congratulations Grudgrime! I will be meeting you in July!! What a relief!

WHEW!!! Why do I still feel like such a nervous wreck?!?

Congrats @grudgrime and @xtinaWSU! I hope that you two have a great journey together. The students that I have spoken with seemed so knowledgeable and tight-knit like a close family. I'm really happy about everyone's success! It gives me so much hope!!!!

Mine said "Deny Alternate" Not sure what that means, but congrats to all of you!!!

I just checked the website because I couldn't resist the temptation. To my disappointment, it said "Deny" in bright red letters. I was a bit down at first, but at least I'm in somewhere and an alternate at EMU (I'm nervous about being on the waiting list considering there are only 30-something spots). Luckily, I planned ahead and applied to 5 schools in order to avoid being completely out of luck. I wish everyone a great nursing educational experience and future career! :yeah: Congrats to everyone who did make it!

Did yours say Deny or Deny Alternate?

I am sorry to hear it GinaNightingale. Good for you for getting into U of D and being an alternate at EMU. I have a friend who is also an alternate at EMU. Good luck with school.

I have been admitted to the CD2 program. I am very excited! Are their any other people out there who have been accepted to the CD2 program? Congratulations to everyone!

Congrats Kitcat!!!

Whoot!! I've been admitted (traditional program)!!!! What a relief :D

Congrats Besafe! It's a big accomplishment!

Hey! The students who got admitted have to sign and submit the Acceptance letter by July 6th. I suppose you were "waitlisted", in case someone refuses or changes their mind you would be the alternative.
