any suggestions from WCCCD students

U.S.A. Michigan

This summer I have to take DT, HSC 100(medical math), and Political Science. I am applying for the Fall semester nursing program so I want these classes out of the way when I start. I work full time so I may have to take them all online. Is that a good idea in your opinion? Or would it be best to take any of them on campus. Also, any suggestions on which instructors are good? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi everybody!!! This is my second semester at WCCCD, the northwest campus!!! Im about to start my third semester in the summer and I wanted to know what teachers I should get for English 119, Political Science and Introductory to Biology!!! Leave your suggestions!!!:loveya:

For Eng 119 I took Donald Jobes at the downriver campus and that was an easy A. For intro to Biology I had Patricia Marquard. She is an awesome teacher. She is very clear cut and gets straight to the point. I learned a lot from her. Good Luck!

Well im at the northwest campus!! I decided that I was going to wait to take biology and I want to take Political Science online!!! Is Patricia Marguard at the northwest campus or the downriver campus??

Thanks for the tips! very much appreciated. Are you taking Brian Jordan for patho? I took his online class last semester and I thought he was great. Enjoy your summer off and hopefully we'll both get accepted in the fall!:)

I plan on applying for fall 2007 as well. I'm finishing up my prereqs now: AP II and Micro. I plan on taking Life Span and Patho online in the summer. However, I'm debating with Patho online - is it a difficult class to take online? Is it anywhere near the difficulty of both AP I & II?

Does anyone know any good teachers for Sociology online at the Northwest campus??

I am really ready to get into the nursing program!!! I basically still have a whole year of pre-reqs to do!!! It seems like its taking forever!!! Has anyone else ever felt this way??:uhoh3:

has anyone taken micro over the summer? also what is your c in the program??

i took micro last summer online with desiree meyers and it wasn't bad at all. you only have to go to school every 2 weeks at the downriver campus for lab and tests. she's awesome, straightforward, and makes it interesting.

if you want to take it online, donna galvan is really good. i took her class last semester and got an a with no problems. i really liked her class and even miss it!

girl, you're not alone. i felt the same way when i started taking my last year. you just have to keep your eyes on the prize and don't look back. you're very young and if you keep going, you'll be a nurse before you turn 22. stay focused and don't let anything or anybody bring you down and the time will fly. you're definitely on the right track!
