  1. What is everyone's gpa? Mine should be a 3.4 after this semester.
  2. For Eng 119 I took Donald Jobes at the downriver campus and that was an easy A. For intro to Biology I had Patricia Marquard. She is an awesome teacher. She is very clear cut and gets straight to the point. I learned a lot from her. Good Luck!
  3. I took micro online last summer and I thought it worked out pretty good.
  4. Thanks for the tips! very much appreciated. Are you taking Brian Jordan for patho? I took his online class last semester and I thought he was great. Enjoy your summer off and hopefully we'll both get accepted in the fall!:)
  5. Yes, I've been to the meeting. I am quitting my job in August. :monkeydance: Can't wait. Thanks for the suggestions! Hope to see you in the program come this fall! Good Luck!
  6. I looked at the schedule for the summer and they do offer HSC100 online. The on campus class times conflict with my work shcedule. Thats why I wanted to know if that was a good idea to take it online rather than in class. I am currently taking two classes online right now and you're right, it is more difficult as far as the number of assignments so, I'm a little nervous about taking HSC 100 online.
  7. This summer I have to take DT, HSC 100(medical math), and Political Science. I am applying for the Fall semester nursing program so I want these classes out of the way when I start. I work full time so I may have to take them all online. Is that a good idea in your opinion? Or would it be best to take any of them on campus. Also, any suggestions on which instructors are good? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  8. Hello, I am applying for fall of 2007. I took the NET last year and for me, math was the hardest part of it. If you study hard you will do just fine. Good luck! :nuke:
  9. YES! Do tell! I will hopefully be starting in the fall so I wanna hear all about it. :wink2:
  10. I am a student at WCCCD and when applying for the nursing program they look at the grades from your pre-reqs or pre-reqs(A&P 1 and 2, PSY101, Micro, ENG119) and co-reqs(SOC100, HSC100&200, DT 130, PS 100). Whichever equals to the highest gpa. For spring 07, the lowest gpa accepted was a 3.3. The deadline for applying is May 30th for Fall semester and September 30th for Spring semester. Hope this helps
