   Does anyone know if they have always interviewed this many people? I understand the surplus is to create the waitlist to make up for people who later end up going with alternate plans.

   They said they were using a point system so not sure why you feel you "bombed" the interview but all hope isn't lost as they'll still consider your points from other areas.

    Hi FutureMurse, As far as most competitive ICU, IMO, would be CVICU and/or CCU at a level 1 hospital. Any ICU at a level 1 would likely give you a wider range of experiences than the same ICU at lower level hospitals. If you're not at a level 1 ...

    No, more so his level of satisfaction. Is faculty supportive? The coursework is challenging I'm sure but do the professors teach well? Is the program itself organized? Anything like that.
