About Heehaw

Graduated from North Seattle CC as an LPN in 2007. I worked as a med/treatment nurse in LTC facility that specialized in psychiatric and behavioral residents for 3.5 years, then decided I needed a change in pace. I worked as a clinic LPN in a busy primary care outpatient clinic for 1.5 years and decided I wanted more. I started the RN program at Shoreline in winter of 2013 as an advanced placement student and graduated this past march, passing the nclex in April. I will be starting a residency program in August for a geropsych unit! Excited for the opportunity to get into a hospital setting and just continue to grow as a nurse! I absolutely love working with people and caring for them (original, right?) and can't imagine doing anything else!
