  1. Nursing students sue Excelsior College

Definitely not a credible source. With that said, you are misinterpreting what they're saying in the release. Now I'm not saying that all the information in the "story" is true or factual. What I am saying is that they're talking in legal terms, like...
  2. Exams that appeal to Paramedics

    I sent you a pm.
  3. Exams that appeal to Paramedics

Congrats, getting a B on LS3 is no easy task. Good job. LS2 is easier than LS3, not nearly as in depth. So can you pm those amazing study materials for CCRN, CEN that you were talking about?
  4. Exams that appeal to Paramedics

CCEMTP here and LS1 was unbelievably easy and so was Repro. I made A's on both, they were beyond simple. LS2 was ok, and LS3 was the worst test I've ever taken in my life, I took them all in August so this was recent. If you don't mind, pm those amaz...
  5. Save the date!

They told me the same thing, April to June. I had my app in the first week of November. I also got lucky and got a cancellation date. I also test 1/9 and I'm testing at Grady. Where are you testing at?
  6. Save the date!

Great news. Did you call and get a date or did you get it by being on the cancellation list? I'm on the cancellation list with fingers crossed!
  7. Any New Excelsior Students?

Right now I'm just reading the study guide and learning mnemonics. I'm gonna do ROb's CPNE but I'm torn about a hands on workshop, I've thought about doing Sherri Taylor's workshop in Atlanta but I'm living on a disability pension which doesn't leave...
  8. Excelsior Micro practice exam help!!

Have you taken an EC practice exam yet? I highly recommend those as a way to see where you're at with the subject and as a study tool. The rationales for the answers are very helpful.
  9. Any New Excelsior Students?

Unfortunately you won't be able to do Reproduction first. You have to take the exams in phases which consist of phase one and phase two. You can't move on to phase two until you're done with phase one and Reproduction is in phase two. The good news i...
  10. Excelsior Micro practice exam help!!

Transitions was as hard as micro, then the next six were pretty easy and the last one, LS3, was the hardest of them all.
  11. Excelsior Micro practice exam help!!

I think (it's been about a year) that I made a 45 on practice test A and a 55 on test B. Made a B on the real exam. It was a tough one.
  12. Any New Excelsior Students?

I'm waiting on a CPNE date then I'll be done. As far as study tips StudyGuide101 is an incredible resource. Their flash cards are great. The EC practice tests are a must have and Saunders NCLEX review was a good supplement but their test questions ar...
  13. Any New Excelsior Students?

I understand, and as I said, I truly do hope it works out for you. As for EC's exams, I did most of them in a week, devoting roughly forty hours of study time to each exam, so you can easily beat your self imposed deadline if you choose. You sound mo...
  14. Any New Excelsior Students?

I think you're taking a big gamble by going this route. Good luck and I hope it works out like you've planned.
  15. I spent about 40 hours of study time for each exam. The practice exams were very helpful with the exception of LS3, the practice exams were useless for that exam. I probably should have spent 80 hours studying for that one.
