At the end of the day if something happens to that patient, the RN is still accountable. RNs delegate but they are responsible for the work they delegate because they are overseeing care for that patient. At least that's how I see it.
I am the same way! My body constantly fights with me to stay awake at night, so night shift is perfect for me. I'm not an introvert per se but I am very focused on my work so night shift also helps me stay focused on my patient without the extra dist...
IDK much about the topic but you should look into Nurse Licensure Compact in the NCSBN website about the multistate license. I'm not quite sure how it works but it sounds like something that could be beneficial to you
