So how does one take the NCLEX when you graduate nursing school before 2014? I don't remember the exact year she actually graduated, in another country.

There's lots of other issues such as credibility in a court of law for an upcoming misdemeanor trial of hers. I advised her to clean up social media so a lawyer doesn't break down her credibility for calling herself a nurse when she's not one.

She would probably be happier doing something she wants to do like business. Maybe that is her success. Having to be forced to pursue a nursing degree as opposed to what she really wanted/wants was unfortunate. I'm pretty darn sure she is not focu...

When this person tells me she only went to nursing school because her mom made her do it and that she wants to do something else, I know what she means. I have known this person since we were 5 years old. She really isn't into it.

The other issue is that on social media she freely refers to herself as a nurse in her biographies. In her mind, she is a nurse because she has her BSN.

Some people were not really serious about their taking the NCLEX and trying to pass. Maybe more interested in boys. I honestly don't want her becoming a nurse because I know it is truly not in her heart. I do believe it is a disservice to patients w...

LPN would be okay to say they are a "nurse" given it is Licensed Practical Nurse. RN would be Registered Nurse. But "nurse"? This person refers to herself as a Nurse in general. I would think that "nurse" would be a protected title with licensure req...
So settle this with me, if someone graduated with their BSN and failed multiple attempts at the NCLEX, can they still claim BSN on credentials but not add RN to the end. Technically, they can't ever use the term "nurse" right? Asking for a "friend" w...

I kind of did the same but I have home health as back up. I'm actively interviewing in other areas. But I sleep so well now without the use of any sleep aids I was taking while I worked my night shift. I'm looking for things not at the bedside but...

I just graduated from CGCC in May and I too had a great experience. Don't believe the rumors of what you hear from the news. Your school experience will be determined by the amount of work that you put into in order to graduate and then pass the NCLE...

I took the test on the 19th (yesterday). Good pop-up less than an hour later. State board posted that I passed it today. Still waiting for the license number to post!
