Jillane2011, I actually think you have a fairly good chance. I would let them know that you have your CPR and immunizations done so they can note that. If 2 people don't finish theirs by aug 17th and turn them in then you will get a call. Plus if your #2 that means after me it moved 2 more spots. I think I'll see you this fall! Keep us updated and good luck!

Thank you gibranam and emmyers I have taken care of my immunizations as of today. I also let them know that and they said that was good because they wouldn't call people after aug 17th since it wouldn't leave people time to finish. I am also taking the CPR class at the climb center July 6th. Would you suggest I drop that math class I previously mentioned in a different post? Thanks again, I am do anxious!

I got a call back from pcc today. They have filled all their spots and deposits have been paid. This leaves me in the #1 alternate spot! I can't believe I missed it by one spot! What do you think the chances are that 1 person will drop by August 17th? That is when they are requiring all immunizations done and final paperwork in.

Thanks osuchris I actually already took statistics and received an A. I tested into math 111 which made me exempt from taking it for the ocne program. I just don't know if I should take it if I don't need it.

Advice needed please. Im on the PCC wait list #61. I'm enrolled in microbiology and math 111, this quarter. The only reason I'm taking math 111 is to give myself the chance to apply for the George Fox program in case I don't get into PCC. I am also planning to apply to linfield this summer, but with 2/3 of my A&P classes receiving B's, a B in bio 112, and 2/3 of my chem classes are B's, I'm worried my chances aren't great. All the rest of my classes are A's. I am trying to decide if I should take the math. Has anyone heard about the program at George fox? I have 4 kids I'd love to spend more time with this summer if I really don't need the math class. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Glad to hear good news today at PCCs nursing info session! Last year they went through their whole wait list. Since I'm #61 that's good news that gives me hope. I'll still bite my nails till I get the call though.....ugh...the suspense!

Hey everyone! I've been following the posts for quite some time and just decided to chime in. Congrats to everyone that is in a program! I'm wait listed for PCC(61) and UofP(80). I'm conflicted about a couple of things, I've taken my pre-reqs for linfield minus microbiology but this application period doesn't notify until oct 1st. Thats where I'd love to go but of course would just be happy to be accepted and in a program. I'm also curious about people thoughts on George fox I'm taking their prereqs as well. Honestly I know it's great to be on a wait list but idk how far they go on the lists, someone at PCC said usually around 50.Thoughts?
