About clocke73

I am a career changer who Just finished Nursing School (May 2015). I'm a widow and a mother, too. I hope to end up in Critical Care, Women's Health or Research. I'm planning to become an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Since I have a background in technical documentation for medical devices, I may also end pursing a Master's in Informatics. Maybe I'll go for a DPN someday. I'm currently in the midst of a job search and excited for the new challenges that lie ahead.

Is anyone else staring the LCCC ADN program in January? I got my acceptance letter on Wednesday. I was shocked to get it, because the last counselor I spoke with told me I'd be lucky to get in the Fall 2012. I submitted my application in Nov 2010 and...
  5. I did it! A&P I & II in the same semester!!

I had to get special permission at my school, too. I have a BS in biology already, and I completed it while working full time. Based on that, the head of the program felt I would do well taking them together. Now I just have to wait for clinicals or ...
  6. I did it! A&P I & II in the same semester!!

Congrats! I did the same thing this semester. I feel like I should walk around in an "I survived A&P I & II at the same time" T-shirt! I still have the final exams to take, but I'm pretty confident that I will be getting at least a B in both ...
