Libra1, have you actually read through this thread??
  2. Just Finished TEAS Test

I agree that people need to get the test booklet for whichever exam they're taking. I borrowed a V4 book, but taking the V5 exam, I decided to buy the V5 study guide. 96% made it all worth it!! I also suggest making notecards, and marking any section...
  3. One of the BSN programs I'm applying to requires that students get their CNA prior to beginning the program. So far, just the one school, but I can imagine more schools will be requiring this soon.
  4. Trying to get get accepted!

Yep. I'm 30 with a hubby and a son, and I plan to go for my master's (midwifery), so I NEED to get my BSN. My father-in-law keeps harping on applying for ADN programs, too, and I'm like, I'M NOT GOING THAT ROUTE. STOP GOING THERE!!! That's why I'...

  8. Is anatomy one of the toughest courses for nursing?

Vala, I love you! LOL I, too, hate those people, and I COMPLETELY agree that those are the people who crumble when it gets down and dirty. If these classes were easy for you, great, but don't get all condescending with those of us who have to actu...
  9. Is anatomy one of the toughest courses for nursing?

Anatomy was INCREDIBLY time consuming! I probably spent 20-25 hours a week studying for that class alone. But I got an A! Physio was just as tough, just a different thought process. I spent almost as much time studying for that as I did Anatomy. I...
