  2. what the HECK is PBDS?

Traumajunkie....so, is there a travel company you would recommend? Soar, during this research, I have heard that S f upplemental is the best. When it gets dog-eat-dog in any situation though.....Let me know please.
  3. what the HECK is PBDS?

No traumajunkie, I don't work for advantage RN. I was responding to skigr from page 5, on this thread, who had a terrible episode with them. I apologi ze for being so cloudy.
  4. workplace disorganization, mental torture and bullying

Me-oww! I've seen them in action here too. Oh, the claws can come out and some nurses don't even see it coming. In nature, survival goes to the nurturer. The ones who teach and assist, not to the fittest. The system as it is today, is bound to fa...
  5. what the HECK is PBDS?

I hope advantage RN never has to "fight" for a critical patient like he/she fought for you ! How lame and unprofessional to wait 3 weeks.
  6. workplace disorganization, mental torture and bullying

You can get some comfort from Doc Lori, R.N., also the thread here at all nurses under 'verbal written warnings and termination'. Most of us have many years of this under our belts. You can get lots of good support here. The problem is systemic....
  7. Verbal, Written Warnings and Termination

Wow Losbozos. It sounds like your pain was extenive, I mean, it reached long after you were a goner. Gone are the good ole JCHO days when administrators actually had their toes to the fire once every 2 years. They used to suck up to staff for t...
  8. Nurses! Have you ever been told to "Just Relax"?

Ah, you are a breath of fresh air Doc Lori, I actually did just that and stepped out of the mess to regroup. Today, less than a month later, I am gathering my authentic self, smiling a REAL smile. Your words are inspirational you know that right? T...
  9. Nurses! Have you ever been told to "Just Relax"?

That should be true, Doc,R.N., I am a believer. I realized that centering and breathing well slowed me down enough to get trampled. Violets
  10. Nurses! Have you ever been told to "Just Relax"?

Before I go 'Sally Field' Doc,R.N., let me say thank you for the validation. I've been around helathcare for a very long time now and it is absolutely in change mode today. What happens when change occurs? We get a little testy, uncertainty bring...
  11. Nurses! Have you ever been told to "Just Relax"?

Thank you for the laughter and the direction here. Can you imagine being a patient in the amosphere we can hardly navigate? Are there really nurses who DON'T find the floor toxic? It is time to remove the self-doubt I allowed to slip into my people ...
  12. CCCONLINE.org

RNDude, y'know, thinking back, I took STATS as a Math requirement. Maybe that is why it counted as 'fulfilled'. Don't you think it's a great program? I do.
  13. CCCONLINE.org

Yes, Sand_Dollar, I'm referring to CCConline. I was so happy to get my A in Stats, thinking it would do something beautiful to my GPA. That didn't happen, all I got was acknowledgement that the requirement had been fulfilled. Still, it was a very ...

I forgot to mention that the grade is transferred as pass or fail. Like if you got an A in class, it won't help your GPA. Still, you get to knock off required classes in a few weeks.
  15. Help me PLEASE!!

Not one single nurse began her career knowing everything. We all started out with a desire and of course fear. It really is true, everyday you learn something new. Why not try?
