   I don't know why I was offered what I was--I do work full time but make a bit less than the median salary for Seattle and will stop working once I get into a program. I also took all my pre-reqs at NSCC and got good grades, so maybe the tuition waive...

   I was worried about NSCC not having enough aid to go around, but I just got my award letter and in addition to Perkins Loans they offer tuition waivers (basically a grant). My award is enough to cover tuition and supplies.
