   I applied also and my EFC was zero. However, my tuition is due in July and they don't let you know if you got the award until September so I'm looking into other options which unfortunately means loans.

   You have nothing to worry about. As long as you meet the GPA requirements and complete all prereq's you will get in. I got into the accelerated programs at NYU, Stony Brook, Adelphi and Seton Hall. And my GPA was barely a 3.0 (actually it was 2.97) ...
