   Im not sure, my processing officer called the embassy to confirm it but they did not give a clear answer. They said it's up to them if they will let the applicant have the interview or not.

   visa screen cert. should be valid upon embassy interview to avoid delay in visa issuance. Visa wont be given until you have a valid vs cert. Embassy appointments are only given when your PD is current. In my case, my appointment for May is cancelled ...

   yes i have read that, but I need my visa screen cert it's still on renewal process, and I dont think I could make it home before the given cut off date. So i just have to wait for my PD to be current again.

   may 2015 vb is really frustrating. I have an upcoming embassy interview on may 12, next month, flight booked to manila, and almost ready. but unfortunately my PD wont be current anymore (PD aug 07). :-(
