   She had been offered alternative pain medications and refused them. I also, I had to wake her up to do a stat blood draw on her that's part of the reason why she was awake.

   If it was a rtc pain med. I would have had to chart on why I didn't give it. It was a prn. I charted my assessment. I took the women's blood pressure three times. She slept through most of the night.

   Our blood pressure machines don't store the information. I did take her blood pressure three times and explained the situation to her. But I did not CYA.
