All I can say is---you won't have a life while you are in the program------Your family must be supportive. Get a calendar and at the start of each term- write down your due dates for every assignment so you won't forget them or be late with them

I suggest you give them a call. I know for awhile students from NC could not apply & I am not sure if that has changed. Give them a call & they will give you a straight answer. Good Luck & I hope you attend FNU because they have an awesom...

I graduated from Frontier Nursing University in March 2012. I chose Frontier for its long history & for practical reasons- most of the other online schools require you to go to their campus multiple times during the program. That can be costly &a...

I am a FNP with NSO coverage & I plan to change my coverage to adult NP since I work in Addiction treatment & I may return to geriatrics. I plan NOT to see pediatrics. My question, to the Adult NPs, is what is the age range you can legally se...

I am from New York. I suggest you call the school and ask to make sure. I know when I first applied the accredation in New York was in the process of being renewed. I know for a while they weren't admitting anyone from North Carolina because they wer...

I think Frontier has a well-rounded program. I think it is ranked 15th in the US for FNP and 13th for the midwifery programs. One of the reasons I chose Frontier is that you are only required to go to the campus in Kentucky(which is in a beautiful lo...

Now that makes sense. I graduated from Frontier and I think each year the school has to submit paperwork to be approved by the state. If the school is approved, then there is no problem getting licensed to practice.

I would suggest that you contact the NYS Board of Nursing directly. I quickly read through the requirements for NP licensure and didn't see any changes to that effect listed. I graduated 3/31/12. There are still several students from my school in NY ...

Part time is the best way to go since you are working full time. Full time is possible but the sacrifice is great. The test proctor device began after I graduated so I don't really know anything about it. Frontier Bound (FB)is awesome. Meet as many ...
