    Can you first try to shadow an RN on a peds unit for a few hours? That may help you decide. The ED and inpatient units are very different experiences, if you can shadow both, that would be a plus. Good luck!

  15. That's not a bad suggestion and probably the standard for peds hospitals. As med doses are generally weight based, it would be crucial to double check safe dosages for our younger population. Have fun in your peds rotation.
